Change or cancel your Direct Debit

Big things are coming at EE

BT and EE are part of the same family, and big things are coming for the EE brand. But this won't change any of the BT services you have with us today. Read more about the changes coming to EE.

How to:

  • change the bank your Direct Debit is paid from
  • change the date of your Direct Debit
  • cancel your direct debit

Change Direct Debit bank details

Select 'Edit your bank details' in My BT.

You'll need your:

  • new bank details (account number and sort code)
  • BT account number, which you'll find at the top of your latest bill or in My BT

Alternatively, you can call us on 0800 44 33 11.

Change your payment date

Select ‘Change when you pay’ in My BT to change your Direct Debit payment date. 

We’ll adjust your charges on your next bill. For example, if your next payment date is later your first bill after changing will mean you pay for that extra amount of time.

Cancel your Direct Debit

Cancel your Direct Debit in My BT.

It takes five working days to process. We may still take your next payment as usual if it's due soon.

We'll send you a letter to confirm the cancellation.
