A BT ID is the username and password you need to manage all your BT services online. With your BT ID, you can log into My BT and all BT apps to:

  • View all your BT products
  • Keep track of your bills and usage
  • Set up and use your BT Extras such as; BT Wi-fi, BT Email, BT Cloud and more

You may have created a BT ID if you placed your order online at BT.com. If you did, we will have sent you a link to the email address you provided asking you to activate your BT ID.

If a BT customer has given you a free BT email address, then you’ll have had to set up a BT ID as part of the process to accept the email address you were given.

If you didn’t receive the email asking you to activate your BT ID or you don’t have a BT ID, it's easy to create one. All you need is your BT account number, which you’ll find on the right corner of any bills we’ve sent you. Find out more about your BT account number here >
