Learn about the ports on your BT Hub

Big things are coming at EE

BT and EE are part of the same family, and big things are coming for the EE brand. But this won't change any of the BT services you have with us today. Read more about the changes coming to EE.

All our Hubs have ports (Gigabit or Ethernet) on the back for you to connect your devices using wires.

Our latest Smart Hub 2, Smart Hub and BT Hub 5 have four Gigabit ports. These ports are 10 times faster than Ethernet ports so you always get the fastest connection.

The BT Home Hub 3 and 4 have Ethernet ports so you can connect via Ethernet.

The Smart Hub 2 also has a USB port which you can use to charge phones or tablets.

There's also a Phone port. This won't work with your current PSTN phone service and will be used for future products.
