We’ve made it easy to complain using the Which? nuisance calls website:

Complain about nuisance calls

If you can, note down some details when you get nuisance calls. Include the date, time, name of the firm if known, and also the number you were called from (even if it doesn't look like a valid phone number). If you don't have all the details, you can still make a complaint via Which?. They’ll pass it to the relevant regulator: either Ofcom or the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO).

Why should I complain?

You won’t receive any direct feedback about your complaint, and it may not put a complete or immediate stop to all your nuisance calls or messages. But the information you supply will help in the fight against companies who are breaking the rules.

And the more people who complain about nuisance calls, the more likely it is that the regulators will take action.

How can I stop nuisance calls?

Nuisance call or scam call?

Nuisance calls are generally unwanted marketing calls from businesses trying to promote a product or service.

Scam calls are made by fraudsters claiming to work for us. They may ask you for personal information or want access to your computer. Don't be fooled, this is fraud.
